Denver, NC is a quaint “resort-like” community located on the west side of Lake Norman, just north of Charlotte. As a bedroom community of Charlotte, Denver is full of people trying to escape the congestion of the “other side of the Lake” that is home to Mooresville, Huntersville, Davidson, and Cornelius. As such, the community is rapidly changing and is transforming from its rural character to suburbia. As part of this growth, a huge need for “starter family” homes has driven this project.

BOYLE was contracted to provide environmental assessment and geotechnical investigations, prior to assisting with monitoring/ testing of the massive earthwork effort needed to develop some very rugged and rocky terrain. Aerial photographic monitoring is being used to proactively identify, document, and communicate deficiencies to our client.
